I’ve been working Full Time with Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty since the spring of 2003, but we moved here in the winter of 1993 when I took over as the manager of the Escrow Department for Thurston County Title Company. For me, this was a bit of coming full circle as I had worked at this and other title companies in the summers of high school (in the late 70’s) and again full time in the early 80’s.
The transition from the title company to being a Realtor included a wonderful experience working for a couple of weeks with a local lender. They fully immersed me in the loan origination and processing of different transactions, and I am forever grateful for that hands-on learning.
I moved with my wife Vicki and newborn son to Olympia from Yakima, Washington in November, 1993, after having worked at Fidelity Title Company as a Title Officer and an Escrow Officer since 1989.
Prior to that was my term of service with the Navy, from ’83 to ’89. I was fortunate to have been picked up, after my initial training in Nuclear Power and Propulsion, as in instructor in the prototype training center located in Ballston Spa, NY. After those two + years Vicki and I moved to our last duty station, Charleston, South Carolina where I served on a Fast-Attack submarine – the USS Narwhal. That was a unique boat, not only in the US Navy but in the world, and it was fun that it received a mention in a Tom Clancy novel that it “spent more time off the Russian coast than most Russians do.” I’m still not allowed to tell you whether that is true…..
I bring a lifetime of experiences . . . in the title, escrow, loan and Realtor side of the business . . . to every customer. I strive to help you achieve the outcome that you desire. It is for this reason that I say, if you give me the opportunity to work for you . . . you Get Every Advantage.
